The central and state government appointed 6192 community health officers for running health and wellness centers in rural gross rout people’s health care under Aayushman Bharath in Karnataka’s 25 districts.
But according to appointments and existing law the state govt did not pay their wages, incentive, overtime cost and other benefits.
in the same time the government did not form people’s health committees (Aarogya samiti) which is common people demand for long time for free and compulsory health to all.
in Karnataka out of 30 districts 25 districts under this program with 6192 community health employees working from last half decade.
Since last year workers have held a number of rounds of discussions. govt openly refusing to full fill workers’ demands.
against these anti workers and anti-people’s government attitude *All Karnataka state community health employees Union led by TUCI gave call for state level protest on Nov 18th in 25 district headquarters.
We appeal to make successfully for employee’s rights and public health rights protection against privatization of health and contractual unfair labour practice by corporate fascist state.
