Let’s Commemorate the 100th Death Anniversary of Lenin!
21 January, 2024 marks the 100th death anniversary of Comrade Lenin. Leninism is called Marxism in the era of imperialism, or rather Leninism refers to the ideological, political and organisational contributions of Lenin that developed Marxism according to the concrete historical context when capitalism transformed into imperialism during the last quarter of the 19th century. Lenin’s theory of imperialism, thesis of revolution in the weakest link of imperialism, conceptualisation of the vanguard Party and Bolshevik organisational principles of building up Party found its concrete expression in October Revolution.
Since every social phenomenon is constantly changing, imperialism is also not static. Following the transformation of colonialism into postwar neocolonialism since mid-20th century, and internationalisation of capitalist production coupled with far-reaching successive technological changes have brought about fundamental transformation in the laws of motion of finance capital and surplus value extraction across countries. However, on account of its ideological- political setbacks, the International Communist Movement has failed to further develop Marxism- Leninism according to the concrete conditions of neoliberal imperialism today.
As it’s manifestation, even as the systemic crisis and inherent contradictions of imperialism are accentuating, the reactionary ruling classes everywhere are trying to find out ways such as neofascism to overcome them. And as Lenin pointed out a century ago, the capitalist-imperialist system will continue until being thrown away. Therefore, the only option today is to develop Marxism-Leninism for a revolutionary political intervention by workers and oppressed peoples of the world, as proposed by Lenin.
Long Live Marxism-Leninism!
Down with Imperialism and Neofascism !!
Workers and Oppressed Peoples of the World Unite !!!
