All India Anti-Fascist People’s Convention Successfully Held at Nagpur on 10th March
The Convention called for Defeating Fascist RSS/ BJP, Save Democracy, Reservation and Secularism and Constitution.
On the initiative of CPI (ML) Red Star, All India Anti-Fascist People’s Convention against Corporate-RSS Fascism was held in Nagpur (Maharashtra) on 10th March 2024( Sunday ) from 11AM to 5PM. The Convention passed a Resolution with central slogans “Defeat RSS-BJP”; “Save Democracy, Constitution, Reservation and Secularism”.
Com. P J James ( General Secretary of CPI – ML Red Star) inaugurated the Convention. Adv. Anil Kale ( Chairman, Reception Committee) welcomed the convention presided by Comrade R Mansayya (TUCI General Secretary). Distinguished speakers including Com. Upendra Reddy ( Polit Bureau Member, MCPI ), Com. G Jhansi( CPI ML New Democracy), Com. Tuhin ( Convener, Caste Annihilation Movement CAM), Com. Pramila( Convener,Basti Suraksha Manch), Com. Urmila ( Chairperson, All India Revolutionary Women’s Organization AIRWO), Com. Anu ( Students for Peoples Democracy), Com. Prasad Rao( Convener, Jan Sanghrsh Morcha Chhattisgarh), Com. Lakhan Subodh (Chairman,Caste Annihilation Movement Chhattisgarh), Prof. Javed Sheikh, Com. Shankar ( CCM,TUCI) , Com. Indra Bhetal (Treasurer, All India Nepali Ekta Samaj ), Com. Amir Ali( CCM TUCI), Com. Vijay ( PBM and Madhya Pradesh State Secretary of CPI ML Red Star), Com. Ranganathan ( CCM, AIKKS) and Com. Saidalu( CPI ML Red Star Telangana State Secretary).
Com PJ James in his keynote address, emphasized how world’s largest and longest-running fascist organization RSS through its political tool BJP has established a fascist regime in India. If not resisted and defeated, in the coming Lok Sabha election Indian people will be facing the biggest danger.If allowed again to come to power, the outcome will be the formal establishment of Hindu Rashtra with Manusmriti replacing Constitution. It will be a regime serving most corrupt crony corporate houses like Adani, while subjecting toiling masses, dalits, oppressed, tribals, women, other backward classes and minorities to further oppression condemning them to subhuman status. Therefore , the immediate task before the anti-fascist democratic forces comprising workers and all oppressed including minorities, Dalits, and women is to defeat BJP in the coming election by avoiding a division of anti RSS votes.
All other speakers opined that
in such a suffocatingly crude situation, let us all come together and raise our voice for a better future, in favor of democracy, peace, constitution, reservation and secularism, against religious fanaticism, chauvinism, hatred and division. Comrades from Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana,A.P.,Odisha and Karnataka participated in the convention. The convention concluded in the evening with enthusiastic revolutionary songs by participants from various states in different languages.
