On 15th June, a demonstration was organized by various democratic organizations under the call of Chhattisgarh Nagrik Samaj at Ambedkar Chowk, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The protest was held against the brutal mob lynching of three Muslim youths from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh by saffron cow vigilantes in Aarang on 9th June. For the first time, Chhattisgarh witnessed mob lynching by fascist goons, resulting in the death of two youths on the spot and the serious injury of another. No arrests have been made by the BJP government’s police force to date. Demonstrators demanded the immediate arrest of the murderer fascist goons under murder charges, appropriate compensation for the families of the deceased and the seriously injured person, and an immediate halt to attacks on Christian and Muslim minorities by fascist goons of the Sangh Parivar in Chhattisgarh .A delegation of demonstrators submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
