n Karnataka, the Shri Ram Sena, one of the Hindutva outfits, has come out against CPI (ML) Red Star Polit Bureau member and TUCI General Secretary, Comrade R Manasaya for his firm opposition to the Manuvadi and Islamophobic tirade in the State. As the venomous Hindutva fascists, following the footsteps of Savarkar and Golwalkar, are engaged in their maddening Hindurashtra offensive, targeting Muslims and Dalits in the State, the Party and its cultural activists led by Manasaya are in the forefront of ideologically and politically exposing and resisting the fascists.
It is in this context that the threatening statement of Shri Ram Sena, as published in Kannada newspapers, has come up against Manasaya asking his apology, together with the warning of ‘funeral procession’ and his effigy burning in front of his residence in Raichur.
We appeal to the working class and all oppressed including the minorities in Karnataka to come forward for a united offensive against the far-right, reactionary Hindutva fascists, and request all progressive-democratic forces to to stand in solidarity with Comrade R Manasaya.
