Raipur, 22 May 2025. Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh organised a Jan Convention on the topic “Growing Danger of Sanghi Manuvadi Fascism and Our Role” at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on 21 May. Comrade Prasad Rao, the front coordinator, chaired the convention. Comrade P.J. James, General Secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star, presented a seed statement based on his article. Also, PUCL Chhattisgarh President Jashpur’s Junus Tirki, Alka Buddhist and Jayashree Buddhist connected with Mahabodhi Mahavihar Mukti Movement, Advocate Anischaran and Central Committee member of Tribal Bharat Mahasabha, Comrade Urmila, also kept their words. Famous public singer Nisar Ali, associated with Ipta rural, Kaladas of Labour Workers Committee, AIRSO President Comrade Akshay, Comrade Bandu and Comrade Shankar presented the revolutionary public song. On this occasion, “Understanding RSS Fascism, Resist it and Win it” (On Understanding, Resisting and Overcoming RSS Fascism), CPI(ML) Red Star Publishing book and Red Star magazine were also released. Convention unanimously in favor of peace against war mania, in favor of ceasefire in Bastar, against repression of tribals and corporate robbery of water forest land, against wakf amendment law and targeting Muslims in the country, under the guise of Islamophobia, the Palestinian people Five proposals passed by terrorist Israel in favor of public’s united struggle against genocide and the growing threat of federal manuvadi fascist forces and division culture in Chhattisgarh. Faiz’s famous poem “Hum Dege” was sung against the recent FIR filing incident in Nagpur, on singers singing the song of great poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz at the end of the convention. And everyone announced the slogan of “Lal Salam Jai Bhim” against the statement of giving an illegal agreement to the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.
Speakers said in one voice that today the world’s largest and oldest fascist organisation, RSS, is facing horrific disruption throughout the country’s entire social terrain, highly hated divisive policies and communal provocations.
Chhattisgarh is being transformed into a new laboratory of Hindurashtra by Sanghi Manuvadi Fascist forces after Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan.
In Chhattisgarh, especially the minority Christian and Muslim communities, as well as women, the poor, hardworking public, tribal and dalit oppressed are also being targeted in a fascist campaign. Ninety per cent of the country’s general public are bearing the highest burden of poverty, hunger, unemployment and inflation in the last 75 years due to the loot of corrupt corporate houses. These fascist forces across the country and at their gestures, the Godi media has spread fierce war mania.
It is a call of time to form a struggling front against corporate saffron fascism at the state level with like-minded organisations/forces in such dark times. Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh called for an initiative for an anti-fascism front with progressive forces of the state. Along with this, appealed to all leftist, farmers, labourer organisations, publicists, secular progressive forces, minority communities, dalit/ oppressed tribal public, women, youth and like-minded organisations/forces to start a statewide political campaign against RSS neo-fascism. At the end of the convention, Chairman Comrade Prasad Rao announced a 20-member coordination committee reorganising the Jan San Sangharsh Morcha to give a wider and more effective method to Chhattisgarh. Representatives of Janwadi Organisation, Dalit/Oppressed, Tribal, Women and Minority Communities from different areas of Chhattisgarh participated in the program.
