Zionist Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza Revives Memories of Brutal Colonialism

– Tuhin

Today, the Zionist extermination or destruction of Palestinians by Israel has reached a horrific stage. Amid ongoing shelling, bombings, and mass killings, Zionist Israel is now using starvation as a weapon to eliminate the population of Gaza. Despite warnings from the United Nations about famine and deaths due to hunger, the Netanyahu regime is adopting a multi-pronged strategy, including directly blocking UN-recognized food aid programs.

Even food aid, essential medical assistance, and humanitarian supplies aboard 600 United Nations trucks have been stuck at the Gaza border for days, denied entry. Only a very limited number of trucks are allowed to enter—like a drop in the ocean of urgent needs—used as a smokescreen to mislead the global public. Meanwhile, the Palestinians of Gaza are already condemned to endure extreme levels of starvation.

At the same time—while blocking UN aid programs—the US-Israel alliance has pushed forward another aid organization, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), as a supposed means to deliver relief. In reality, it is being used as one of the most inhumane fascist traps for the targeted extermination of the starving. Run by American security contractors, Israeli businessmen, and Israeli officials, GHF’s actual mission is to seize food distribution from UN-related agencies. While the UN and other legitimate aid agencies are questioning the credibility and methods of GHF, it is operating more as a security agency than a relief distributor.

Reports indicate that GHF subjects starving people to extensive security screenings, including forcing them to pass through electronic gates—violating all principles of humanity. Incidents of the Zionist Israeli army firing on crowds of starving Palestinians at GHF-controlled distribution points are frequent. Through this process, the US-Israel alliance is severely limiting and controlling the flow of aid to Palestinians. It is now becoming clear that GHF is effectively a private branch of the US and Israeli security establishments deployed in Gaza—including Israel’s most notorious intelligence agency, Mossad.

As a result, international organizations have demanded an independent investigation into GHF sites under the guise of aid distribution. On June 1, 2025, near the Rafah and Netzarim Corridors, 36 more starving people gathered to receive food were again killed by the Zionist Israeli army. As these lines are being written, bullets are still being fired by the Israeli Defense Forces at crowds of starving Palestinians, including large numbers of children.

According to the media office of the Gaza government, since October 8, 2023, when the Israeli Zionists launched the current genocide, more than 62,000 defenseless people have been killed. In the past 20 months, over 126,000 Palestinians have been injured. Specific groups—children, women, journalists, medical staff, and aid workers—are being deliberately targeted, and the Zionist genocide continues unabated.

In this context, all conscientious individuals must understand that the Zionist State of Israel was created by a conspiracy orchestrated by the U.S. and Britain immediately after World War II, to serve as a “military outpost” of American imperialism over the Palestinian people. Since then, Israel’s entire history has been filled with murder, genocide, and terror.

Today, we must recognize that the true essence of the Zionist Israeli state is akin to brutal colonialism, exemplified by the United States itself. The entire history of American dominance is rooted in the genocide of Native Americans, wiping out the original population of the Americas. Similarly, since the forced establishment of Zionist Israel on Palestinian land post-WWII, a systematic annihilation of the native Palestinians has been ongoing—with full support from the “colonialists” of the American Empire, which is now in decline.

This colonial history is now the very foundation of the US-Zionist Israeli alliance. In such a situation, merely issuing condemnations of Zionist Israeli terror is insufficient. In the neo-fascist context, where many countries including India maintain economic and military ties with the Zionist Israeli regime, resisting it is a difficult but necessary task.

A recent report says that Israel attacked the Freedom Flotilla Foundation’s ship Medelin upon its arrival near Israel and arrested all its passengers. Among them were famous Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, French LFI party leader and European Parliament member Rima Hassan, and several Hollywood artists—12 people in total. Israel had threatened to shoot everyone on board.

Greta and her companions responded by saying:
“We are ready to die for the 2.3 million people of Gaza who are dying every day amid hunger, thirst, and slaughter.”
Medelin was the only fisherwoman in Gaza. The British ship was named after her. These dozen people traveled 2,000 kilometers to make a sacrifice. Their firm demand was that the medicines and relief materials aboard be delivered to the people of Gaza.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry claimed that the Medelin boat was brought to Ashdod Port, 40 km from Tel Aviv, and all 12 passengers would be deported. The aid on the boat would be distributed to the people of Gaza.
Thus, Medelin’s journey ended—but this 2,000-kilometer voyage once again showed the world that the only way to confront terrorism is through widespread mass movements. Thousands of people are on the streets in Paris, across Europe, and in Canada. Around 7,000 people from Muslim countries have reportedly reached Rafah.

In various countries in Europe and America, progressive and democratic forces are organizing boycotts of Israeli goods, protests against military shipments to Israel, and demanding diplomatic severance. The International Criminal Court has declared Israel a war criminal and issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu. Now, even several capitalist governments in Europe are announcing actions against Israel.

One of the passengers on the Medelin said in a video after Israel’s attack:
“If you kill 12 people, 1,200 will come in the next boat. Then 100 such boats, maybe thousands.”
Greta and her team reminded the world that solidarity is essential before revolution.

Meanwhile, Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, which targeted Iran’s military and nuclear facilities, has been condemned in the strongest terms by the international community. This attack occurred while the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) accused Iran of violating its nuclear non-proliferation commitments. However, the IAEA has already proven to be a political tool of the Western imperialist bloc led by the U.S., which remains deliberately silent on Israel’s nuclear weapons.

Israel’s targeting of Iran’s strategic military commanders and nuclear scientists could not have been possible without the tacit support of NATO, led by the U.S.—despite American claims of the attack being “unilateral.”

While democratic forces and aware citizens in Europe rise against the Zionist genocide of Palestinians and compel their governments to at least formally oppose Israel, Israel increasingly relies on the protection of the Trump-led U.S. regime. Even within the U.S., pro-Palestine movements are gaining momentum.

In the coming days, when the ruling elite of Arab countries—whose petrodollars are safely stashed in American and European banks—continue to remain silent spectators, the entire West Asia region will face long-term instability. The ultimate result will be huge profits for the U.S. military-industrial complex, and further burdens on the working class and oppressed people.

Following the Israeli attack, Iran responded the very next day with a massive retaliatory strike, firing 2,000 intercontinental ballistic missiles at key Israeli targets including Tel Aviv, Haifa Port, and Mossad’s headquarters, according to international media reports.
It is noteworthy that India’s fascist Hindutva-backed corporate giant Adani, known as “Modi’s Elon Musk,” has $1.2 billion invested in Haifa Port.

The terrorist Zionist Israel and its patron American imperialism are the number one enemies of the world’s people. These two represent the greatest threat to global peace and humanity. Fascist forces like RSS, Modi, and Shah want to distract the Indian people from the fact that Iran has always supported India in its disputes with Pakistan at the United Nations.

Even after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran remained a friend to India—despite being a fierce critic of the U.S., which has spilled rivers of blood across the world in pursuit of dominance. But today, fascist Modi, America’s obedient lapdog, is calling up terrorist Netanyahu to reassure him of India’s support. In doing so, Modi’s government is not only insulting the Indian people but has also shamed the nation by abstaining from voting in the UN on the resolution condemning Israel’s genocide and famine in Gaza—thus displaying its slavish loyalty to the US and Israel. Most nations voted in favor of the resolution.

This shameful act by the fascist Sangh Parivar is part of a larger Islamophobia project, orchestrated globally by U.S. President Donald Trump, aiming to spread hatred and fear against Muslims in the name of Islam.

To save humanity and eliminate terrorism at its root, the only option is for the working class and all oppressed peoples to launch an aggressive, clearly anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist resistance. Such initiatives are vital to building a better world.

Today, the people of India and all other nations must establish unbreakable solidarity with the people of Palestine. In response to the U.S.-backed Zionist Israeli genocide on Palestinian soil, all peace-loving and progressive people must raise their voices.

Therefore, in every country, all democratic and progressive sections, along with the working and oppressed classes, must force their governments to completely isolate the Zionist Israeli regime. The need of the hour is to launch a coordinated global campaign to isolate Zionist Israel through economic blockades, trade bans, boycotts of Israeli products, diplomatic severance, arms embargoes, and other appropriate measures.

The success of these initiatives ultimately depends on breaking the U.S.-Zionist Israeli alliance. A global movement against the U.S. support for the Zionist genocide of Palestinians is the call of the hour.
