World Tribal/Indigenous Day organized in Sihor with revolutionary enthusiasm

World Tribal/Indigenous Day was celebrated with revolutionary zeal and enthusiasm in Sihor, Madhya Pradesh on 9 August 2025 The leadership colleagues of tribal society kept their words strongly in this program organized in the presence of thousands of people group. Representatives of various organizations – Ravi Solanki, Dilip Tadvi, Sachin Jamod, Surendra Dhurve, Lad Singh Kataria, Krishna Suryavanshi, Narm Barela, Prakriti Solanki, Suresh Kanoja etc shared their views and underline the historical struggles of tribal society.

Comrade Tuhin, Jan Sangharsh Coordination Committee, Comrade Vijay of Madhya Pradesh, Comrade Fahim Sarfarosh, State Coordinator of Revolutionary Cultural Forum (RCF), and Comrade Smriti from All India Revolutionary Women Organization (AIRWO) addressed the Assembly. The Assembly was conducted by Comrade Sandeep Kalam, Anita Barela and Kailash Jamre, State Coordinator of All India Revolutionary Student Organization (AIRSO).
The tribal folk cultural parties in the Assembly captivated the masses with their attractive presentations. These presentations showcased the richness and vibrancy of tribal culture. The program was set up a bookstall for the promotion of revolutionary literature by Amar Smriti, Sandhya Prajapati, Fahim Sarfarosh, the colleagues of Revolutionary Cultural Forum.

Comrade Tuhin and Comrade Vijay, in their address, highlighting the historical contribution of tribal society, saying that tribal society sacrificed the most in the fight for freedom against British imperialism and its indigenous broker capitalists and paralysis. This series started in 18th century from Amar Shaheed Baba Tilka Manjhi to Sidhu, Kanu, Chand, Bhairav, Phulo-Jhuno, Ulgulan Rebellion of Birsa Munda, Veer Narayan Singh of Chhattisgarh, Gundadhur of Bastar, Alluri Sitaram Raju of Andhra Pradesh, Queen Guidals of Nagaland, Chuaad Rebellion of Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh’s Tantia Bhil is seen in numerous revolts.

Speakers also highlighted the atrocities on tribals in the current period. Countless loot of water, forest, and land by corporate houses in the last 11 years of the BJP government, operating under the guidance of RSS and its ideological base Manuvadi/Brahminist Hindutva, he said. The RSS, which calls tribals “forest” instead of giving human status to the tribals, and acts as the latheat of corporate families like Adani-Ambani, is the biggest enemy of tribals.

It was pledged in the Assembly that in the centenary year of RSS, dalits, oppressed, tribal, women, and minorities will unite and fight a decisive battle against saffron corporate fascism. The struggle will be to build an exploitation free and equalistic India while realizing the dreams of Sidhu, Kanu, Phulo-Jhuno and Birsa Munda.

Organizers are appealed that all judges should join the struggle and demonstrate solidarity to protect the rights of tribal society.
