Today, 27 September 2025, the Andhra Pradesh Anti-Fascist State Convention organized by the CPI (ML) Red Star was held at Rotary Community Hall, Jangareddygudem, under the chairmanship of Comrade Jonnakooti Venkateswara Rao, District Secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star, erstwhile West Godavari district.
Speaking on the occasion, President of the Reception Committee, V. Rajendra Prasad, said that the ruling classes in this country are suppressing movements and those who resist, in order to benefit the corporates.
The chief guest of the programme, Supreme Court Advocate Sri N. Srimannarayana, in his address said:
“Today marks one hundred years since the founding of the RSS. If the roots of RSS are examined deeply, it is clear that the RSS is creating enormous dangers—dividing people in the name of religion, attempting to turn India into a Hindu
nation, killing followers of other religions, spreading fear, conspiring and murdering to wipe out progressive forces, and forcefully imposing its Manuvadi ideology upon the people. By strengthening Hindu religious dominance, RSS promotes caste ideology, nurtures and upholds the caste system, and suppresses Dalits and minorities.”
He further stated: “Article 14 of the Indian Constitution embodies the ‘Rule of Law’, but today the Constitution written by Ambedkar is being torn apart. It is our collective responsibility to defend Ambedkar’s Constitution.”
Another keynote speaker, CPI (ML) Red Star Polit Bureau member Mannava Hariprasad, said:
“Lenin had clearly explained that imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism, and that fascism is nothing but the most brutal form of capitalist repression. Fascism always uses religion and religious sentiments to serve the interests of big capital. Narendra Modi, Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Jaganmohan Reddy—all of them are acting in favor of fascist forces. We must recognize this and fight unitedly.”
He emphasized: “The real aim of Narendra Modi and RSS is to serve the corporate interests of Ambani and Adani under the garb of Hindutva. They are whipping up Islamophobia to protect their power, leaving Muslims, Christians, Dalits, Adivasis, and other minorities without security.”
Also addressing the convention were: Dr. Alugu Anand Shekhar (State Secretary, CPI (ML) Red Star), Kollipara Venkateswara Rao (State Leader), Ranganatham, Madepalli Venkataratnam, Bhimavarapu Subbarao, Thota Jeevanna, Palnadu district leaders Gurupushala Ramanaiah, Venigalla Pushpalatha, Veeravalli Sara, Madakam Ramanna Dharma Rao, and local leaders of CPI (ML) Red Star—Mandalapalli Raju, Tamara Satyanarayana, Lagu Kutumbarao, Narashi Anandarau, among others.
