Bhopal. One day historical ‘Manuvadi Sanghi Anti-Fascism Public Conference’ took place under the leadership of Democratic Rights Morcha (DRF), Madhya Pradesh. Nearly 300 progressive, Janwadi representatives including farmers, laborers, Dalits, tribals and minorities engaged in Bhopal’s Narmadiya Bhavan, took a decisive struggle to unanimously ‘protect the Constitution and defeat fascism’. The program was conducted by Vijay Kumar and gratitude Syed Javed Akhtar. During the conference, the colleagues of Revolutionary Cultural Forum (RCF) presented the revolutionary public songs.
The keynote speakers at the conference said in one voice that the country is currently under strong arrest of BJP/RSS-corporate fascism, which has put social division, corporate loot and erosion of constitutional institutions to its peak. Today, fighting against Manuvadi Sanghi fascism is a call of time.
The historian Dr. Ratanlal (Founder, Ambedkaranama) presented historical context that, “Today’s battle is the ideological continuity of 1927 Mahad Satyagraha. Without defeating Manuvadi forces, equality cannot be established in India. ”
Dr. Author and historian of tribal book in nation building Jitendra Meena speaking on tribal rights, said, “The water-forest-land of tribals are being looted.” The demand of Gondwana and Bhil Pradesh has now become a demand for constitutional justice not only regional. ”
Senior leader Buddhasen Patel called on all Bahujan forces to unite, said, “Giving 52% reservation to backward classes in their number ratio is constitutional mandatory, which the government cannot avoid.” ”
Human rights activist and senior advocate Syed Sajid Ali condemned the attacks on minorities and said the demand for “remove EVMs, conduct elections from ballot papers” is the first condition to save democracy.
The conference also handed over a detailed memorandum (Memorandum) to the Hon’ble President of India, including all its major demands and proposals, demanding his immediate intervention to protect constitutional values.
The conference passes six formula ‘justice resolution’, including the following major demands challenging the current BJP/RSS government:
– Reservation and Caste Census: Caste Census should be done with immediate effect and reservation should be applied in number ratio. 52% reservation should be given to backward class, and EWS reservation should be cancelled immediately.
– Restoration of Democratic Process: Election should be conducted from ballot papers (ballot paper) and autonomy of Election Commission should be restored.
– Corporate loot and privatization ban: Privatization of government properties should be stopped, anti-farmer agricultural laws should be given legal guarantee of MSP. Take back the Anti-Tribal Forest Act.
– Conspiracy to change name should be stopped: Conspiracy to change Bhopal’s name to ‘Bhojpal’ should be stopped immediately. Bhopal’s heritage and historical-tribal names associated with Gond Raja Bhupal should stop distorting from communal view.
– Education & Health: New Education Policy Be Back. Free and compulsory education guaranteed from KG to PG. The privatization of health services should be stopped.
– Women & Minority Rights: 33% reservation for women should apply immediately. Strict laws should be made to ban mob lynching and Equal Civil Code (UCC) should be imposed immediately.
Democratic Rights Front Coordinator Monu Yadav addressing the conference and announced that the conference is a warrior of struggle. The crucial start to raise ‘comprehensive, united and strong mass resistance against RSS fascism’ has started today. He strongly appealed to intensify the conflict by uniting from all Janpath to Judpath to Judge to protect the constitution, democratic values and social justice.
