The conference elected a presidium consisting of Krishna Mohan, Dhobi and Subhash Bharti to conduct the conference and a minutes committee consisting of comrades Seemanchal and Ketuka. In the delegate session, outgoing District Secretary Comrade Seemanchal presented the district organizational report. It was discussed and accepted. The conference elected 5 district committee members which elected Comrade Subhash Bharti as the new District Secretary. 10 delegates and 5 observers were also elected to the 8th Odisha State Conference to be held at Lohia Academy on 28/29 July 2026.

The conference adopted various resolutions including on stopping slum demolition, right to housing near workplaces, immediate permanent shelter for street vendors, harassment of women, unemployment problem, increase in rent, corruption in government schemes and welfare of the common poor, strengthening the democratic movement against the attacks on democracy and constitutional values ​​in the country, protection of tribals, Dalits and displaced people, etc.

Comrade Sanatan and Comrade Vijay joined as State Observers and sang revolutionary songs. Finally, the newly elected District Secretary, Comrade Subhash, hoisted the red flag and declared the conference adjourned.

The 12th Karnataka State Conference of CPI (ML) Red Star commenced on 27 June at the Institution of Engineers Hall, Mysuru, with great enthusiasm and a firm resolve to strengthen people’s struggles. Following the registration of delegates elected from district conferences held across the state, State Secretary Comrade B. Rudrayayy hoisted Party flag and formally inaugurated the conference. Revolutionary slogans echoed through the venue. The inaugural session began with the singing of The Internationale and a one-minute silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the oppressed people.

Inaugurating the conference, Comrade P. J. James, General Secretary of the Central Committee of CPI (ML) Red Star, addressed the delegates. He emphasized the urgent need to unite workers, peasants, Dalits, Adivasis, women, youth, and all toiling masses against the growing domination of corporate capital, the fascist politics led by the RSS, caste oppression, and religious communalism in the country. He called upon the Party to strengthen revolutionary mass movements across Karnataka and throughout India, stating that building a strong Communist Party has become a historic necessity of the present time. He conveyed his revolutionary greetings to the conference.

Later, progressive Left intellectual V. Lakshminarayana addressed the gathering. He stressed that the need of the hour is to unite the fragmented Left and democratic forces on the basis of broad unity in order to strengthen the people’s resistance against communal and fascist forces. He called for continuous efforts towards Left unity in Karnataka as well as throughout the country.

The conference elected M. Gangadhar, D. K. Lingasugur, S. R. Manjunath, K. K. Krishnappa, and Bhagya to the Presidium. R. Manasaiah, B. Rudrayya and Kandegal Srinivasa were elected to the Steering Committee, while M. Niranjan and Sandeep D. D. were elected to the Minutes Committee. The two-day agenda of the State Conference was presented and unanimously adopted.

Thereafter, State Secretary Comrade B. Rudrayayy presented Political and Organisational Report of the Karnataka State Committee. The report offered a comprehensive analysis of the country’s political developments, the offensive of corporate capital, the issues confronting workers, peasants, Dalits, Adivasis, and other oppressed sections, organisational developments, and the future strategy of the Party’s struggles.

During the discussion on the report, members of the State Committee and delegates from various districts actively participated by presenting their views, experiences, and suggestions for strengthening the movement. The discussion was vibrant, politically rich, and marked by active participation.

On the second day, the presentation of the four major draft documents prepared by the party’s Central Committee was led by General Secretary Com. P.J. James and PB (Politburo) Member Com. R. Manasayya. Delegates from Karnataka state were selected for the party’s 13th Party Congress, after which a new State Committee consisting of 15 comrades was elected. Com. M. Gangadhar was elected as the new State Secretary of Karnataka. The outgoing State Secretary and the Central Committee extended their wishes to the newly formed State Committee. Furthermore, the conference concluded with the lowering of the flag by the new State Secretary to the tune of the Communist International anthem

Com Jonnakooti Venkateswara Rao unanimously elected as Secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star, United West Godavari District!

CPI (ML) Red Star District Conference of United West Godavari District was held at Koyyalagudem mandal headquarters on 30th June 2026. The flag hoisting by senior District committee member Com Madepalli Venkataratnam and martyrs commemoration followed by the district Conference which adopted Com Venkateswara Rao and Comrade Madepalli Venkataratnam.

CPI (ML) Red Star Polit Bureau Member Com Mannava Hariprasad inaugurated the District Conference.

While presenting the district report, Com Venkateswara Rao explained about the land struggles in the various villages of the district led by the party in the district report presented. He expressed anguish that despite fighting constitutionally and even going up to the Supreme Court, poor people are still not getting proper justice.

CPI (ML) Red Star State Committee member Com Bheemavarapu Subbarao, Gannamaneni Nagamani, Mandru Ramireddy, Madakam Ramanna, Gurrapusala Ramanayya, and others also addressed the district conference.

The conference passed resolutions demanding: stop the privatization of Visakha Steel Plant; provide compensation to those who died in the recent accident; do justice to Polavaram project displaced persons; implement the 1/70, 1/73 Acts and land reforms; provide minimum support price for crops; and deposit ₹1,000 crore for tobacco farmers, among other resolutions.

The conference, attended by 70 delegates elected 8 members new district committee which elected Com Jonnakooti Venkateswara Rao as the new District Secretary.

The CPI (ML) Red Star Nattika Area Conference (in Thrissur District, Kerala) concluded successfully at Mandakini Commune, Edamuttam. Com P. Parvati becomes the newly elected secretary of Ganjam district

Asika, 30/06. The 4th Ganjam district conference of CPI (ML) Red Star was successfully held at Asika Town Hall. The conference elected 11 members district committee and it elected Com P. Parvati as the new district secretary. The outgoing secretary Com Shankar Inkilab hoisted the red flag and all the comrades offered flowers at the martyr’s statue. The Odisha state secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star Com Pramila formally inaugurated the 4th Ganjam district conference and said that the double engine government has become a double destructive government, therefore, the communist movement should be intensified to achieve the rights of the people through further intensified struggles. Along with this, the meritorious students who have brought a special identity to the country by securing a special position in the Odisha Civil Services Examination were felicitated. Prakash Jena, father of Itishree Jena and mother Gayatri Jena, who secured 10th position, and Tarini Sadipat, father of Snigdha Sadipat, who secured 63rd position, received the certificate along with the certificate from the State Secretary.
