Today, 4 July 2026, marks the US celebration of the “250th Anniversary of the Adoption of the Declaration of Independence”. The Declaration of July 1776, in its pursuit of fulfilling the “God-given destiny”, i.e., the freedom and Independence of the United States of America, among other things, had also pledged America’s promise that “all men are created equal and have the sovereign right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” It also has pledged regarding the creation of the US as the single greatest force for virtue, peace, prosperity, and greatness on the face of the Earth. In his formal declaration on 4 July, Trump has also urged all Americans “to proudly observe this day with all due ceremony to honor the glorious heritage, history, and accomplishments of our beloved Republic.”

However, for the world people, these claims and pledges are mere hollow rhetoric, and contrary to concrete reality. In fact, from the very beginning of the establishment of 13 Colonies, the whole trajectory of US ascendancy as world’s supreme power, both in the colonial period and under postwar neocolonialism, was filled with loot, plunder, horror and genocide. Under the camouflage of freedom and independence, the US regime from its very inception, was a perpetrator of holocausts upon holocausts on the Native Americans. Even Abraham Lincoln, who is worshipped as a pacifist and an “emancipator”, was deeply involved in the exterminations of defenceless Native Inhabitants of America.

The US was in the forefront of commercialising the slavery of African people. It committed horrific genocides on the inhabitants of the entire Pacific Islands ranging from Phillipines to Puerto Rico. Since the 19th century and continuing to the 20th century when capitalism transformed into imperialism, as the world’s leading imperialist power “without colonies”, the US made Latin America its backyard, and financially strangulated it.

Beginning with the dropping of Atom Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and becoming the supreme arbiter of postwar neocolonialism, the horrors committed and bloody coups and ‘regime changes’ done by the US across the world know no bounds. The US horrors on the people of Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and so on, are already documented. During the neocolonial-neoliberal period, at a global level, millions and millions of people have been murdered by the US in violation of all international laws and regulations, while keeping the UN System and all other postwar global political , economic and military arrangements at its disposal.

Of late, keeping the Zionist regime as its Middle East “military outpost”, the US has become the patron and co-perpetrator of the criminality and genocides committed on the Palestinians and the people of Iran. And, the US-Zionist axis of evil remains immune to all International laws and regulations.

To be precise, no regime on earth has or can ever surpass the horrors, genocides, crimes against humanity, and holocausts unleashed by the US. As such, when the US ruling classes celebrate the 250th anniversary of their Independence and once again preach about the high-sounding ideals behind the “God-given destiny” underlying their freedom, it is up to the world people, especially the working and oppressed peoples of the world, to have an objective evaluation of the US claims.

Of course, US imperialism is no exception to the “law of impermanence”. Under neo-fascist Trump’s MAGA and policy of “America First”, though the US is becoming more aggressive, the world is witnessing a shift in a century of US hegemony from a phase of unipolar dominance to a multipolar global order. And, Chinese imperialism with its own characteristics, which are different from Anglo-Saxon notions of imperialism, has already surpassed the US in the economic field and is effectively challenging it in other fields too. And in that sense, Trumpism, with its own inherent contradictions and consequent shift in geopolitics, and loss of cohesion in the Western imperialist camp today, is digging the very grave of US imperialism. It is high time on the part of the working and oppressed peoples of the world together with all progressive-democratic forces to rise up to the occasion and strive for a political alternative against fascism and Imperialism of all hues.

Speakers say: Today we are living under the shadow of terror and fascist repression far more severe than the Emergency

Bhilai, June 25, 2026: Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh observed Anti-Fascist Day in Bhilai. On this occasion, a seminar was organised on the theme “How to Defend Democracy, the Constitution and Secularism.”

The speakers unanimously stated that describing the present situation as an “undeclared Emergency” would be a historical mistake and apolitical. Because today the people of the country are living under the shadow of fascist repression that is far more severe than the Emergency. Today, democracy, the Constitution and secularism are being brutally crushed under the bulldozer of the cruel Manusmriti-based Hindu Rashtra project. The country and its people are facing a deep crisis.

Since 2014, 90 percent of the people of the country have been suffering due to the attacks of Sangh-inspired, Manusmriti-based fascist forces — the lackeys of big corporate houses like Adani and Ambani, merchants of hatred and division, and enemies of humanity. It is the call of the hour that in order to defend democracy, the Constitution and secularism, a second struggle for freedom must be fought by uniting all toiling class and oppressed sections of society.

The seminar was presided over by Jan Sangharsh Morcha Chhattisgarh Convenor Prasad Rao. Tuhin, Convenor of the Caste Annihilation Movement and Revolutionary Cultural Forum, presented the introductory address on the subject. Comrade Saura, State Secretary of CPI (ML) Red Star, Amarjeet Patel, President of Moolnivasi Sangh Chhattisgarh, social activist Sajjad Hussain, former Chairman of the State Minorities Commission Dr. Deepak Claudius, Sukhdev Singh Gill, Reverend Rajesh Prakash, Pastor Firtu Sahu, Pastor Anoop Masih, Pastor James Lal , Ismail Kumar and Jai Sahu, President of Moolnivasi Sangh Durg, addressed the gathering. Pastor Choaram conducted the proceedings.

The speakers said that the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi on June 25, 1975 was an authoritarian and repressive step and was anti-people. But it was not the dark, fascist India opposed to democracy, the Constitution and secularism that we are experiencing today. Today, those who have come to power by taking oath on the Indian Constitution have almost destroyed the Constitution, secularism, the pluralistic society and democracy.

These forces, under the guidance of the RSS — world’s largest and oldest fascist organisation — are pursuing the agenda of “one country, one election, one language, one nation, one religion, one law, one party” (a party favoured by domestic and foreign corporate houses). They are also anti-women, anti-tribal, anti-Dalit and anti-oppressed communities, anti-minority, and against the poor working people.

Those who are in power in the country and many states today have adopted the Manusmriti-based caste system as their ideological basis and are openly engaged in building a Hindu Rashtra project by replacing the Constitution. These Manusmriti-based Sangh-BJP forces have no moral right to remain in power even for a single minute, because there is no greater enemy of democracy and the Constitution in the country today. Their predecessors in the RSS and Jana Sangh had been demanding since 1949 that the Constitution of India be replaced by the “sacred Constitution” of Hindu Rashtra, the Manusmriti.

The seminar also shared the important information that after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the RSS was banned for the first time, and due to its alleged collaboration with British imperialism and betrayal of the nation, this fascist far-right organisation was pushed to the margins. However, during the united movement led by Jayaprakash Narayan against the Emergency and Indira Gandhi’s authoritarianism, including the RSS in that front proved to be a major mistake. This gave the RSS an opportunity to enter the mainstream of Indian politics.

The Sangh has always been notorious for turning crises into opportunities. During the Emergency, the then RSS chief Balasaheb Deoras wrote several letters of apology to Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra seeking concessions. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also associated with this episode; after being released early from jail, he appealed to Congress ministers to get RSS members freed from prison.

Balasaheb Deoras supported the Emergency in his letters, surrendered before Indira Gandhi, and along with other volunteers who were imprisoned, got released quickly after submitting bonds. Meanwhile, people associated with the Left and socialist movements continued to suffer imprisonment and torture throughout the Emergency. Therefore, the RSS-BJP should stop pretending to oppose the Emergency.

The seminar resolved to launch a statewide public awareness campaign against the large-scale loot of land, forests and water resources in the state in the interests of corporate houses like Adani, Jindal and Essar, and against the violent communal campaign of hatred and division targeting minorities — especially Muslims and Christians — as well as Dalits, oppressed communities and Adivasis by the fascist Sangh Parivar.

Implement Revised Wages for Contract Workers of KREIS Residential Schools and Government Hostels Immediately – Demand by TUCI

Raichur: Under the leadership of the Karnataka State KREIS Residential Schools Contract D-Group Employees Association (TUCI) and the Karnataka State Hostel Employees Association (TUCI) Raichur District Committees, a memorandum was submitted today to the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat and officials of the Social Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Minorities Welfare, and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Departments. The associations demanded the immediate implementation of the uniform revised minimum wages notification dated 22-05-2026 issued by the Labor Department of the Government of Karnataka, along with the payment of revised wage arrears pending since 22-05-2026.

Although the government has issued a clear order making the implementation of revised wages mandatory for contract workers across all departments, the revised wages have not yet been implemented for Group-D contract workers in KREIS residential schools and hostels operating under the Social Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Minorities Welfare, and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Departments in Raichur district. The associations condemned this, stating that it constitutes a violation of government orders and a denial of working-class rights.

As per the government notification, the associations have demanded the immediate implementation of the revised wages (take-home salary after EPF and ESI deductions) along with arrears since 22-05-2026.

The prescribed pay scales are as follows: For Zone-01: Chief Cooks: ₹26,968.47; Assistant Cooks: ₹24,630.83; Night Guards and Sanitation Workers: ₹22,321.91. Zone-02: Chief Cooks: ₹24,431.10; Assistant Cooks: ₹22,321.91; Night Guards and Sanitation Workers: ₹20,404.45.

The memorandum was submitted to the District Deputy Director through Ravi Kumar M., Manager of the Raichur District Social Welfare Department.

On behalf of the Karnataka State KREIS Residential Schools Contract D-Group Employees Association (TUCI), the event saw the participation of M. Gangadhar (District Honorary President), G. Adavi Rao (District President – TUCI), Niranjan Kumar(District Committee Member, CPI(ML) Red Star), Nagamma (District President), Mounesh (District Vice President), Ramaiya (District Vice President), Santosh Sirivara (District General Secretary), and Basavaraja Gabburu (District Treasurer).

Representing the Karnataka State Hostel Employees Association (TUCI), Thipparaj Gejjalaghatta (Honorary President), Nagamma Lingsugur (President), Arogya Mary (Secretary), Devanna (General Secretary), Nazeer Ahmed, Gopalakrishna, Kashimbi, Shekharappa, Santosh Bali, Renukamma, Paddamma, Chennamma, Nasreen, and Jainamma, along with contract hostel workers from various departments, took part

Union leaders urged that the government’s order must be implemented immediately to provide revised wages and arrears to all eligible workers. Failing this, TUCI will intensify its legal, democratic, and agitational struggles to protect workers’ rights. They asserted that they would not tolerate the infringement of working-class rights under any circumstances.

Israeli Ambassador’s Use of Indian Media for Zionist Propaganda is Condemnable!

As the long-awaited US-Iran truce has come into force and, and since Israel is also obliged to follow it, the Israeli Ambassador to India Reuvan Azar’s interview with NDTV amply reveals the Zionist regime’s total frustration regarding the emerging situation in West Asia. In his interview, he questioned the mediator role played by both Pakistan and Qatar along with his Islamophobic claim of expanding Hamas network into both Pakistan and Bangladesh. Obviously, the Israeli Envoy’s allegations are also coming in the context when the Report by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry has exposed the Zionist regime for its most inhuman targeted killing of children as a “key part of Gaza genocide”, which is as dreadful as “Holocaust”.

This unrestricted use of Godi Media in India by the Zionist regime is not at all new. Since the ascendance of Modi regime, earlier too, there were occasions when Israeli ambassador used Indian media, both digital and print, to shape Zionist narratives and even criticise opposition members of Indian parliament who questioned the Zionist war crimes committed on Palestine. Of course, in such situations, Indian parliamentary party leaders have come forward actively condemning those remarks including the envoy’s dictating terms to Indian media, And, they have even characterised envoy’s approach as “unacceptable” and “moral cowardice” by the Indian regime. Even suggestions for reprimanding the ambassador and moving privilege motion over his conduct had been there. Meanwhile, Israeli envoy’s use of Indian media and Indian soil for targeting Pakistan and Qatar together with raising allegations regarding Hamas activity in Pakistan and Bangladesh, has already generated debate in diplomatic circles. On the other hand, a strategic silence is visible in India regarding this issue which will have repercussions in India’s relations with its neighbours too.

At this juncture when the Zionist regime has become the most hated and isolated among world people and the comity of nations, and even as Israeli leaders including prime minister Netanyahu are prohibited from entering many countries following ICC arrest warrants on them as ‘war criminals’, the use of Indian media by Israeli envoy to whitewash the Zionist horrors is a shame for the people of India. Leaders of Indian Independence struggle, especially ‘Father of the Nation’ Mahatma Gandhi, were vehemently opposed to the superimposition of a Zionist settler-colonialist regime on the Palestinian people. As such, till 1990s, Israel could not open its embassy in India and vice versa. However, the total abandonment of Nehruvian policies and embrace of neoliberalism in the beginning of 1990s had its far-right reactionary repercussions in India’s foreign policy too including that towards Israel, as manifested through the opening of Israel embassy in India in 1992. The same period also witnessed the surge in Islamophobic Hindutva leading to the demolition of Babri Masjid on 6 December 1992 by Saffron goons. And, following the ascendance Modi regime, the political tool of RSS in 2014, Modi became the first Indian prime minister to visit Israel in 2017, elevating the bilateral relationship into a strategic partnership.

Today, the Zionist regime, as the Middle East military outpost of US imperialism, is committing hitherto unknown levels of war-crimes and horrors on Palestinian people, including the gruesome targeted and systematic murder of more than 20000 children during the last two years, and together with US, is carrying out aggression on Iran, Lebanon and elsewhere, all the Founding members of BRICS except India are very critical of Israel. However, with Islamophobia/anti-Muslimness as the common ideological basis of neo-Zionism and Hindutva fascism, today the India-Israel bilateral relation has developed into a Special Strategic Partnership with military and industrial collaboration. Now, not only the oppressed peoples of Afro-Asian-Latin American countries, but even well-meaning sections in US and EU are hating the Zionist regime for the holocausts and horrific crimes that it is committing against humanity. In this context, it is the cover of India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership and the backing of underlying Saffron-Zionist ideological alliance that embolden Israeli Ambassador to use Indian media for Zionist propaganda and to spew venom on Palestinian resistance forces like Hamas.

Though India holds the rotating Chair of Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue comprising the US, India, Japan and Australia) for the period 2024-26, it has not yet succeeded in holding a full-fledged Quad Summit (in which Heads of States also attend for dealing with strategic issues). Since the process of India demitting the Quad chairship to Australia is to start after mid-2026, the possibility of hosting a Quad Summit under India’s chairship, in addition to the usual Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, may become almost impossible. This also reveals the emerging trend towards a decline in the geostrategic role of Quad in the days ahead .

Obviously, the Modi regime, in tune with Hindutva’s inherent servility to US imperialism, has been clinging on to the apron strings of the Trump regime. In spite of a series of issues such as the US regime’s most undignified deportation of Indian migrants, unilateral super-imposition of tariffs, Trump’s repeated claims on his diktats in ending Operation Sindoor, sanctions on Indian import of Russian oil, etc., the Modi government has been pursuing a ‘more loyal than the king’ approach to US. More significantly, so far, the Modi government has not come forward with a statement even formally criticising the illegal and unprovoked aggression on Iran by the US-Zionist axis of evil, which is most hated and disliked by the comity of nations today.

However, in gross disregard of India’s role as a junior partner of the US, and also as the latter’s launching pad in its machinations against China, the Trump regime has been earnestly working to have a bilateral deal with China. In the process, the US has undermined the undeclared but intrinsic aim of using Quad to challenge the growing role of China in the Indo-Pacific. For instance, the outcome of Trump’s recent high-level meeting with Xi in Beijing, has been a further assertiveness of China in the region, including a sidelining of Quad itself. As is obvious, taking advantage of Trump’s ignominious position in the Middle East following Iran’s heroic resistance against the US-Zionist axis, and due to growing isolation of the US at a global level, Trump is forced to recognise the strategic position of China in the Asia-Pacific, and has to content with trade in critical minerals and certain economic concessions from China. In the case of India, this is like adding insult to injury, since Australia and Japan, the other two US partners in Quad, are appropriately accommodated by the US through strategic military alliances such as AUKUS and the decades-old Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security respectively. On the other hand, India’s unconditional allegiance to US -Zionist axis, as manifested through the Trump-Netanyahu-Modi fascist alliance, without yielding anything to India, has exposed it before the international community as a whole.

In this context, India’s continuing in Quad means adjusting its priorities as necessitated by the requirements of the shift in Sino-US contradictions, and remain as a mere regional appendage of US foreign policy on the one hand, and serving US economic interests as best as it can, on the other. For instance, the Quad Foreign Ministers’ meeting held in India, in which US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also participated, clearly reflected this shifting orientation of the Quad. Though the joint Statement issued after the meeting shows no dearth of rhetoric on geopolitical issues, it took adequate precaution not to provoke China, especially in the context of Trump’s Beijing visit and trade deals signed with China. In fact, instead of pressurizing India regarding the geopolitical issues in the Indo-Pacific, the main task of Rubio during his India visit was to ensure India’s commitment to import $500 billion worth of American goods over five years. Revealingly, the so-called “Make in India” that Modi initiated in 2014 had already become “Made in China” during his first term itself. Now in view of the abject neocolonial surrender to US, this trade deal is now going to transform “Make in India” into ” Made in USA”. To put it differently, the US is now shifting the Quad from geopolitics to geoeconomics, which is set to make India a dumping ground of US products. No doubt, this is a tragic shame for the people of India.

Observing 141st May Day in the Context of Aggravating Imperialist-Fascist Offensive!
As usual, Communist Parties the world over, together with Workers and Oppressed Peoples, are observing 1 May as International Workers’ Day. It was in solidarity with the historic 8-hr working-day demand raised by Chicago workers on 1 May 1886, and in commemoration of the martyrdom of workers in Haymarket, that the International Federation of Socialist Groups and Trade Unions designated 1 May as International Workers’ Day with the clarion call “Workers of the World, Unite”, a slogan originally coined by Marx and Engels. Following October Revolution and formation of Comintern (Communist International) led by Lenin, and as necessitated by the revolutionary tasks in the epoch of imperialism, at the Second Congress of the Communist International Lenin further developed the strategic slogan to “Workers and Oppressed Peoples of the World, Unite”, which became the motto of May Day since then.
Of course, after the October Revolution, there had been a world-wide surge in anti-colonial/anti-imperialist struggles led by both working class and oppressed peoples. This new situation prompted imperialism to resort to a shift from its colonial phase to neocolonialism, “more sinister and pernicious” phase of imperialism, along with the adoption of a “welfare” mask conceding 8-hour working day and some democratic rights and welfare measures till the 1970s. However, taking advantage of the ideological-political setbacks of the Communist movement, and to facilitate the accumulation process in the context of the bouncing back of inherent imperialist crisis since 1970s, US-led imperialism abandoned the “welfare state” and embraced neoliberal globalisation leading to unfettered freedom to corporate capital for plundering labour and nature.
As a result, over the last half-decade, all the hard-earned rights of workers including 8-hr work, minimum wage, social security, etc., are being increasingly snatched away from them, while all kinds of oppression in relation to caste, gender, race, nationality, and so on, have intensified several-fold. At a time when rapid technological advancements under neoliberalism, especially 21st century ‘frontier technologies’ including Digitization and Artificial Intelligence, have brought about several-fold increase in productivity of labour, rather than contributing to an increase in real wages and reduction in the working time, these are resulting in skyrocketing corporate accumulation, super-exploitation of workers including their “informalization”, inequality, poverty and plunder of nature leading to ecological catastrophes everywhere. And, one of the outcomes of technologies like AI is unprecedented levels of unemployment transforming the whole world, whether imperialist or neocolonial, into a “waste-land of unemployment”.
Now, as workers and oppressed peoples together with Left and Democratic forces across the world, are rising up in varying forms against this horrific situation, imperialist powers and their dependent regimes are becoming more oppressive by resorting to neo-fascism (i.e. fascism in the neoliberal period) across the world. In this neofascist offensive, while the usual “anti-Communism” and anti-Muslimness or Islamophobia are being globally used as the ideological bases of fascism, according to the concrete social and historical condition of countries, varying ideologies such as Evangelism in the Americas, Racism and Xenophobia in Europe, Zionism in Israel, Casteist Hindutva (political Hinduism) in India, etc., are providing ideological orientation to fascism. As such, the condition of the working class and oppressed peoples including minorities, immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, women, transgenders, and above all, the most oppressed Dalits as in India, has become all the more vulnerable.
In this context, the second coming of neo-fascist Trump as the president of US, the leading imperialist power and world’s biggest military machine, and the further strengthening of the “US-Zionist axis of evil” have led to disastrous consequences. In continuation of the horrors and holocausts upon Palestine people, the US-Zionist axis of evil, world people’s number one enemy today, is committing unprecedented aggression and crimes on Iran in violation of all international laws and precedents. Of late, though this US-Zionist crimes in Middle East have led to unprecedented inter-imperialist contradictions, except rhetorical statements, the other self-seeking imperialist powers are not taking any serious intervention in restraining the US-Zionist axis, the root cause of all the geopolitical tensions in the Gulf today. Even now, there are self-professed communist parties, who still pursue an approach of balancing US-Zionist axis of evil with Iranian regime. Meanwhile, as the heroic and historic resistance of the Iranian people against US-Zionist axis is getting whole-hearted solidarity from world people, both US imperialism and the Zionist regime, the Middle East military outpost of US, remain as the most hated regimes by international community. At the same time, the emerging inter-imperialist contradictions also depict a tilt in imperialist power balance and consequent geopolitical shift away from the declining US-led Anglo-Saxon West towards a multi-polar configuration in which China-led coalition has a major role.
Regarding India, that comprises one of the largest contingents of international proletariat, the fascism led by world’s biggest political party BJP, the political tool of RSS, world’s largest and longest-running fascist organisation, has become more horrific. Today, while these lines are written, as part of the Hindu Rashtra agenda od RSS, using the Election Commission and the entire administration and even judiciary at its disposal, the Modi regime is engaged in a “political genocide”, mainly targeting the Muslims by disenfranchising and eventually denying citizenship to them. Modi regime, the lackey of US imperialism, and serving the most corrupt elements of corporate capital, is the biggest enemy of Indian working class, vast majority of whom are informal or unorganised, divided into caste-imposed heterogeneous categories, and condemned to sell their labour power at the cheapest wages. The neofascist legislation by Modi government converting the prevailing 44 Labour Laws into four Labour Codes, in conformity with the “ease of doing business” diktat promulgated by Fund-Bank-WTO trio and imperialist think-tanks at the behest of global corporate capital and its junior Indian partners, are intended to transform the Indian workers into 21st century bonded/slave labourers who are bound to work on casual and contract basis devoid of basic democratic/human rights. Long-cherished goals of the working class such as 8-hour working day, permanent employment, pension system, equal pay for equal work, gender-friendly working conditions and so on have become a myth under fascist Modi regime.  As part of neoliberal-corporatism, the Modi government, after transforming itself as a ‘corporate-facilitator’ has already withdrawn from all infrastructure, industrial and service sectors and everything is entrusted with the most corrupt corporate billionaires for plundering labour and nature as they like.
Another crucial issue, that requires the attention of the Indian working class and oppressed peoples while observing May Day, is the flourishing corruption in India under the fascist regime.  While Parliament is kept as a mere edifice, policy decisions are made in corporate board rooms. While corporate funds are flowing into the coffers of the ruling party though notorious Electoral Bonds, under the cover of Corporate Social Responsibility and through non-transparent contributions on the one hand, through horrific corporate tax-cuts, disinvestment of PSUs, direct channelling of several lakh crores of bank money to  crony corporates  through ‘Non-Performing Assets’ and so on, wealth concentration among the billionaire class under Modi regime has reached unparalleled proportions. The gap between the common people and the super-rich has reached hitherto unknown levels. For instance, the top one percent of super-rich Indians holds 40 percent of the national wealth, more than that under British colonialism, while that of bottom 50 percent of the people having only 3 percent, which is much less than what it was at the time of Power Transfer in 1947. Corporate crony capitalists in whom India’s wealth is concentrated and who are totally depending on imperialist centres for technology and expertise are least interested in employment-generating real production and are engaged in money-spinning speculative businesses. As a result, unemployment has become unprecedented, while working class and oppressed people with steeply going down real income and declining purchasing power are unable even to subsist amidst sky-rocketing prices of food, fuel, medicine and other items. Today, with more than half of world’s “absolute poor” or extreme poor, India is called a “citadel of global poverty”.
At this critical juncture, it is the solemn task of all workers and oppressed people to stand in solidarity with the world-wide struggles rising up against neofascism and imperialism in all their manifestations including wars, super-exploitation of workers and toiling and oppressed peoples, against environmental destruction, etc. While extending warmest May Day greetings to international proletariat and all oppressed peoples of the world, and while building up revolutionary, fraternal comradeship with them and all like-minded forces in the struggle for people’s democracy and socialism, the revolutionary Communists and all democratic forces in India today have a two-pronged but interrelated tasks in front of them. First is the strategic and long-term task of resisting and defeating the ruling system and establish a people’s democratic state. However, under fascism that denies even the basic democratic rights, this long-term task can be taken up only by creating minimum conditions necessary for waging struggles and campaigns. Therefore, the immediate and urgent task before us is to defeat and remove the most reactionary RSS fascism at the earliest.
To be precise, when we commemorate the 141st May Day at this critical juncture when RSS fascism, with Islamophobia and most inhuman Brahmanical caste-system as ideological base is super-imposing its fascist stranglehold over the Indian people, it is the indispensable task to rise up against this horrific situation utilising all options at the disposal. That’s, while always upholding international solidarity, it is the solemn task of India’s workers and oppressed to commemorate this May Day calling for a no-holds-barred offensive against RSS fascism. This is essential for creating the conditions for taking up the strategic march towards the establishment of people’s democracy and socialism in solidarity with all workers and oppressed peoples of the world today.
Long Live May Day!
Workers and Oppressed Peoples of the World, Unite!
Down with Imperialism and Fascism!
Wipe out US-Zionist Axis of Evil!
Solidarity with the People of Palestine and Iran!
