Maharashtra State Conference Successfully Completed

Maharashtra State Conference of CPI (ML) Red Star was held in Dombivli on 13th and 14th June. The conference began with homage being paid to the martyrs. Com. Akshata and Bandu were elected to the presidium of the conference. Thereafter, the proceedings of the conference commenced.

Following the presentation of the State Organizational Report, discussions were held on the documents proposed by the Central Committee. Subsequently, a new State Committee was elected. Com. Akshay was elected as the State Secretary, while comrades Bandu, Akshata, Shailendra, and Manohar were elected as members of the State Committee.

The conference adopted the following resolutions:

1. To intensify struggles by uniting anti-fascist forces.
2. To oppose the state government’s policy of closing schools.
3. To oppose the
sub-categorization of
reservations.
4. To extend support to people’s struggles against anti-people projects.

Thereafter, on behalf of the presidium, Bandu thanked all those present and declared the conference concluded. The conference ended with the singing of the Internationale.
