Com Gulzara Singh Martyrdom Day observed at Barnala
On 9 th September a memorial day of Shaheed Com. Gulzara Singh Bhathal, one of the revolutionary martyrs of The great Naxalbari Uprising was observed at Bhathal in Burnala District, Punjab. He was brutally killed by police in May 1970. The commemoration was organized by United Memorial Committee of Revolutionary Martyrs in Punjab. Main speakers were comrades- Labh Singh Aklia (CPI ML Red Star Punjab State Secretary), Sukhdarshan Nat( Liberation), Sukhdev Pandhi, Prof. Ajaib Singh Tivana, Prof. Jagtar Joga, Sukhdev Bhupal, Mohinder Singh Bhathal and others.
