Barnala / 28 September – Today, at Tarksheel Bhawan, Barnala (Punjab), on the occasion of Shahid Bhagat Singh ‘s birthday,a People’s Convention against RSS-Manuwadi Fascism was successfully organised under the banner of Sanghi Manuwadi Fascism Virodhi Lehar, Punjab.
The convention began under the chairmanship of a presidium formed by Com. Narbhinder (President, Jamhoori Adhikar Sabha, Punjab), Com. Labh Akalia (State Committee Secretary, CPI (ML) Red Star), Harbhagwan Bhigi, Bikar Singh Aulakh, Hakm Noor, Veerpal Kaur (Barnala), Taranjot Kaur, and Patti Sekhwan-ke. The programme was inaugurated with revolutionary songs by Com.Ajmer Singh Akalia.
The keynote address was delivered by Com. Narbhinder. Introducing the theme, Com. Labh Akalia said that under the
leadership of the world’s biggest and oldest fascist organisation RSS, the BJP is striving to impose a brutal Manusmriti-based Hindu Rashtra. It is engaged in destroying the poor working people and the common masses—economically as well as socially.
The convention was addressed by Com. Narbhinder, Com. Labh Akalia, Com. Harbhagwan Bhigi 
(Liberation), Hakm Noor (Ambedkarite platform), Bikar Singh Aulakh, and others. Large numbers of workers from oppressed Dalit, women, and minority communities participated from Barnala, Bathinda, Mansa, Ludhiana and surrounding districts.
