Ballia: On January 16th, at the district headquarters, a public meeting and protest were held at the call of the United Farmers’ Front (Samyukt Kisan Morcha) demanding the withdrawal of the #proposed Electricity Bill 2025, the #four anti-labor codes, the #VBG Ramji (Viksit Bharat Guarantee Employment and Livelihood Mission Rural), and the #proposed new Seed Bill 2025, as well as demanding loan waivers and a law guaranteeing #MSP (Minimum Support Price). Following the protest, a memorandum addressed to the President was handed over to the administrative officer representing the District Magistrate. The protest saw participation from the #Inquilabi Mazdoor Kendra, #Krantikari Lok Adhikar Sangathan, #Uttar Pradesh Kisan Sabha, #Uttar Pradesh Kisan Sabha, Kisan Mahasabha, All India Revolutionary Kisan Sabha (AIKKS), Trade Union Centre of India (TUCI), Uttar Pradesh MNREGA Workers Union, Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Workers Union, Kisan Front, and #Krantikari Kisan Union.
