[9:22 am, 19/07/2026] Kabeer Katlat: CPI (ML) Red Star strongly condemns the cruel state repression unleashed by the fascist Modi government against the historic student-youth movement, which has been ongoing at Jantar Mantar for the last 29 days, and the forcible removal of social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on a hunger strike for the past 21 days.
The manner in which the Delhi Police and paramilitary forces turned Jantar Mantar into a military garrison this morning, hiding behind the directives of the Delhi High Court, exposes the naked fascist character of this regime. Abducting Sonam Wangchuk from the protest site under the pretext of his declining health and putting Abhijit Dipke under house arrest is a direct assault on democratic rights. This entire operation is part of a calculated fascist conspiracy to crush the militant resolve of the students, youth, and the working masses.
The most heinous and repressive face of the Fascist Modi regime was unmasked during this entire episode when, under police protection, Sanghi lumpen goons and the state machinery jointly attempted to brutally remove the militant student activists sitting on a hunger strike, and unleashed a cowardly lathi-charge on the protesting students and youth.
CPI (ML) Red Star extend solidarity to the students’ struggle with demands including the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, dissolution of NTA and immediate withdrawal of NEP. We appeal to all democratic students and youth to join the Parliament march against the Fascist regime with these demands on 20th July.
