RSS BJP bulldozer has mixed 556 tribal houses into the soil
Bhubaneswar, 18/11 Salia Street tribal village, BJP government has installed double engine bulldozer to the roads to 556 tribal slum dwellers in the middle of the night and unbearable heat of the day. Starting from children to elders, everyone is suffering from hunger and fasting in the open sky. Only RSS BJP government can do this cruel, merciless and inhumane work, it has been proved. The original inhabitants of Salia street built in the forest land of Bhubaneswar are the slum dwellers of the tribal village. The BJP government which is the tribal chief minister in the state is destroying the houses of the tribal people from the forest land which has been inhabited for more than 50 years. Forest Right Act-2006, Land Right of Slum Residents Act-2018 and Government has violated the law of the right to live and to live and dwell in openly, for the first time in our state, they have installed a bulldozer and mixed 556 tribal families into the soil. CPI (M-L) Red Star Odisha State Committee has translated this in harsh language, and disregarding the policy of first placement and then eviction, the BJP government has murdered our constitution.
Heavy protest against inhuman eviction by putting bulldozer at gunpoint on tribal slum dwellers in the name of development and Saliaasahi Regional Committee, slum protection stage leadership and workers who were protesting by sleeping in front of bulldozer have arrested 60 people and released in the evening. Comrade Sal Marandi and Comrade Niru have been sent to court. Indian Justice Code 296/126(2)/132/191(1)/74/351(2)/3(5) clause has been imposed on them. More than 100 families are holding their children in the open field.
Tomorrow will be an even more horrific attack. While there are 5 platoon police force today, many police force are waiting to come from evening to tomorrow.
Instead of handing over the valuable land of Salia Street in the hands of big companies in the name of construction and development of wide roads, the slum dwellers should be given rights by first settling them. Request from CPI (M-L) Red Star Odisha State Committee to protest against the hidden agenda of giving land to Adani.
